For more than 30 years, Tom has helped individuals, families, and nonprofits solve their unique investment, planning, and income challenges.
A dedicated public servant, Tom served as Minnehaha County Commissioner for nine years and a South Dakota State Senator for four terms. He is a past chairman of Avera McKennan Board of Trustees and a current chair of Lutheran Social Services.
Tom is also a writer and photographer. His book, “North of 12th Street,” was a finalist for Note Word’s book of the year, and he has been published in Sailing Magazine, the International Herald Tribune, and USA Today.
Tom enjoys golf, sailing, swimming, and spending time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.
